Two Buttons Split Hem

A sleeveless knit vest closing on just two buttons at the waist, with a deep V above them and a split running up the centre front hem below. That split is what stops it sitting flat against the hip and lets it fall on either side of a high waistband. The armhole is bound narrow and the shoulder is cut close. Worn on its own over a wide trouser it does the job of a top and a layer at once.
