Blocks And Bobbles

An oversized cardigan blocked in wide horizontal bands of contrasting tone, with alternate bands worked in a raised bobble stitch so the pattern is felt as well as seen. It hangs open with no fastening and reaches the top of the thigh. The sleeve carries the same banding and finishes in a deep rib. It is a busy piece by design, so everything worn under it should be plain.

  • Wide horizontal bands in contrasting tones
  • Alternate bands in a raised bobble stitch
  • Hangs open with no fastening
  • Reaches the top of the thigh
  • Sleeve carrying the same banding
  • Deep rib at the cuff
  • Available in Orange and Purple

WOMENSWEAR, CHOSEN RATHER THAN COLLECTED

Solmara exists because getting dressed should not take a decision every morning. The range is built so the pieces work with each other rather than only on their own, which is why a coat here fits over the knitwear here and the trousers sit under both.
