Short Pea Coat

A pea coat cut short so it finishes at the hip, with a wide notch lapel that folds right back across the chest and a double breasted front closing on four buttons. The shoulder is dropped and the sleeve is wide, which keeps it easy over a chunky knit. Two welt pockets are set into the side seams. Because it is cropped it works over a full skirt or a wide trouser without cutting the leg in half.
