Long And Very Wide

A double breasted overcoat cut long enough to reach the ankle and wide enough to go over anything, including another coat. The shoulder is dropped well past the natural line and the lapel is broad, which is what gives it the volume rather than any padding. It closes on two rows of buttons but is meant to be worn open, so the front falls in two long panels. Deep welt pockets sit at the hip.
