A rounded oval with a thick front and a dark lens, deeper than a cat eye and softer than a rectangle. That middle shape is the reason it works on more faces than either of them, because there is no sharp corner to line up against a cheekbone or a brow. The temples are wide where they meet the hinge and taper toward the ear, and the arms run straight rather than curving down. A plain frame that does not date. There is no logo worked into the temple.
