Quiet Check Straight Cut

A single breasted blazer in a fine check, cut straight through the body with no waist suppression so it hangs from the shoulder rather than gripping. The lapel is a standard notch and the front closes on two buttons set low. There are flap pockets at the hip and a welt pocket on the chest. It is the blazer that goes over a t-shirt and jeans on a Tuesday and over a shirt and trousers on a Thursday, which is most of what a blazer is asked to do.
